CONCORDIA, Kansas — The Cloud County Community College softball team announced the date for its annual youth summer camp, which is scheduled for Tuesday, June 19th at the on-campus Thunderbird Softball Field.
Participants will receive a three-hour clinic from Cloud County head softball coach Aaron Acree, and assistant coaches Madi Bryant and Nikki Chacon, that will focus on both offensive and defensive skills.
The camp, which will run from 9 a.m. to noon on that Tuesday, is open to 7-14 year olds and costs $30 per participant. All campers will receive a free Cloud County softball t-shirt.
Attending parties are asked to bring shorts or pants, a t-shirt, softball cleats or tennis shoes, their glove and bat, as well as water to drink. Catcher should bring their own catching gear.
